A former KGO-7 in San Francisco reporter and the individual behind the creation of America’s first-ever 24/7 South Asian-targeted television network, Diya TV, has closed on the Kalil & Co.-brokered sale of a broadcast television station serving California's Central Coast.

An AM/FM combo in an Arkansas city, along with two FM translators, are being transferred by a trust linked to King-Sullivan Radio to an entity that will give Sid R. King and his family full ownership of the properties.

The South Carolina-headquartered company led by COO Dale Ardizzone and CEO David Cerullo that is the parent of the MVPD-distributed "INSP" channel, plans to sell its broadcast TV stations in the coming months. A GM at one of the properties tells RBR+TVBR that all were informed by Imagicomm of their plans.

On May 3, 2024, Gordon Ackley resigned as the Chairman of the Republican Party in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The reason? To support his aging father, who lived elsewhere. Now, Ackley is moving forward with the sale of two FM radio stations he owns in the territory.

The future of two AM radio stations and an FM translator serving Muscatine, Iowa, presently licensed to the trustee of bankrupt JAM Media Solutions, appears to be in the hands of a locally based media company co-owned by family members who have owned a Chevrolet dealership in the city for some 65 years.

Perhaps all it needed was a different approach to operations to allow a presently silent FM to succeed on-air. A deal is in place that will see RadioDifferently LLC become the new owner of the property, pending regulatory approval.

As RBR+TVBR first reported on December 18, Lotus Communications is reentering the San Diego market after 29 years. It is doing so by purchasing an FM once owned by Midwest Television and, later, by TEGNA. It is now known how much (or, in this case, how little), Lotus is paying Local Media San Diego for the station.

A future 50kw noncommercial FM serving Florida's Forgotten Coast — an area ravaged by hurricanes in recent years — is being donated to a private not-for-profit educational institution based in Pensacola.  The group transferring the station is led by Athens, Ga.-based Lowell Jackson.
