A Noncomm FM Translator Sold By Spirit

It is a 55-watt FM translator at 105.5 MHz rebroadcasting a Class A religious station based a few miles to the south of this facility’s city of license. Pending FCC approval, this FM translator will be heading to a new owner.


Spirit Communications is selling W288CT in Newark, Ohio, which has been feeding programming from WLRY-FM in Rushville, Ohio.

The buyer is Runnymede Inc., led by President John Franks.

A $49,000 purchase price has been agreed to, with a 10% deposit paid to Spirit. A $44,100 payment will be made at closing.

Serving as the buyer’s legal counsel is Derek Teslik of Gray Miller Persh LLP.
