The $3.2 million acquisition of some 60 LPTV stations and 10 LPTV construction permits by Edge Spectrum -- a.k.a. EICB-TV NET -- from a religious non-commercial broadcaster has officially moved forward, following a delay requested by the buyer.

A silent AM in the Tampa-St. Petersburg market, along with its FM translator, has been dealt to Q-Broadcasting Corp. However, it is the translator that has brought some cash to the seller, as the AM station was given away.

In October 2016, Three Angels Broadcasting agreed to sell a group of television stations to EICB-TV for the purchase price of $3.2 million. This broker-free deal involved the transfer of roughly 70 stations, and it is now known that EICB requested more time, to get its finances in order.

Two full-service television stations and a low-power TV station are being dealt from one not-for-profit entity to another. Two of the properties are in the Volunteer State, while the third is based in Des Moines.

Lisa Stiglets has acquired her very first radio stations, thanks to a deal that saw Media Services Group serve as the exclusive brokers representing the seller. The deal gives Stiglets' JLE, Inc., ownership of an AM-FM combo in Louisiana.
