Members of the Advanced Television Systems Committee Inc. (ATSC) elected four media and technology executives to serve on the ATSC Board of Directors for three-year terms that begin in January 2023.

In February 2021, the company successfully lured a three-year VP of Content Strategy for NBC Sports Washington to serve as its corporate-level VP of Sports. He would later rise to SVP/Sports. Now, Matthew Volk is preparing to exit Audacy Corp.

The Allen Media Group (AMG) digital platform Local Now, a free-streaming service for local news and entertainment, is firing up a new offering dedicated to a comedian and actor known for roles on CBS's "The Ghost Whisperer" and his portrayal as Randy Meeks in the original "Scream" films of the 1990s.

The Library of American Broadcasting Foundation’s annual celebration of the distinguished individuals who have brought the electronic arts to the prominence they occupy in the U.S. and the world today, and who have set the stage for the future, is on track for Tuesday at Gotham Hall.

It may have a shared services agreement with Scripps that sees the familiar news anchors of WPTV-5 also appear on the FOX affiliate serving West Palm Beach, but its sales and marketing are the responsibility of the licensee.  That station owner has named a new General Manager, who will also serve as GSM.

She joined Sinclair Broadcast Group five years ago as GSM for its Wichita and Hutchinson, Kansas, television operations. She also worked for Connoisseur Media. Now, she's been promoted to VP/GM.
