The NBC affiliate serving South Florida since its sign-on 71 years ago has a new News Director, and it is welcoming an individual who is relocating from The E.W. Scripps Co.'s ABC-affiliated sibling in Tampa-St. Petersburg, where he was Asst. ND.

At the same time, Civic is making a move to tighten its market focus by creating a two-region structure. This sees Civic Media select a President for the Southern Region and, concurrently, a Vice President for the Northern Region. Additional moves see Civic Media naming a SVP of Product, a VP of Marketing, and Tech VP.

The 2025 affair will also see NABLF President and NAB Chief Impact Officer Michelle Duke honored with the AWM Legacy Leadership Award. Meanwhile, the 2025 Gracies Leadership Awards will celebrate six executives "whose achievements continue to redefine leadership and innovation across the industry."
