One is the Chairman of NBCUniversal Local. The other is the Executive Vice President of leading media brokerage Kalil & Co. Both are now members of the National Association of Broadcasting Leadership Foundation’s Board of Directors.
Valari Dobson Staab and Todd Hartman “bring exceptional leadership and deep industry expertise to our board,” said NABLF President Michelle Duke. “Their perspectives will be instrumental as we continue to expand our programs and strengthen our efforts to develop the next generation of broadcast and media leaders.”
Staab oversees NBCUniversal Local’s portfolio of 50 media properties, including NBC and Telemundo-owned stations, regional sports networks and streaming channels. She joined NBCUniversal in 2011 and was named chairman in 2022.
Hartman has advised on transactions across television, radio, out-of-home advertising and digital infrastructure. “Known for his strategic insight and deep industry relationships, Hartman has helped guide clients through complex deals across the evolving media landscape,” the NABLF says.
