LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y. — He’s spent his entire professional career with iHeartMedia in New York, beginning as a Promotions Assistant with WKTU-FM. Most recently, he’s served as Event Director for the company’s stations serving the Tri-State Area, taking the lead in bringing high-impact events and listener experiences to fruition. Those efforts have earned Andrew Festo a promotion.
He’s now the VP of Events and Experiences at the station group that also includes such brands as WAXQ “Q104.3,” WHTZ “Z100,” WWPR “Power 105.1,” WLTW “106.7 Lite FM,” BIN: Black Information Network affiliate WWRL-AM 1600, and Talk WOR-AM 710.
In his new role, Festo will lead the strategy, development and execution of “franchise events” across iHeartMedia’s New York brands, along with select national events. He’ll oversee all aspects of event execution, including development, partner and sponsor relations, budget management, production logistics, and artist and vendor coordination.
