He most recently served as the Marketing Director for Gray Media’s trio of TV brands serving Cleveland, as well as the Rock Entertainment Sports Network, an Ohio-based regional sports network partly owned by Gray.
Now, he’s at the helm of WTHI-TV in Terre Haute, Ind.
Taking the General Manager post at the Gray Media station in the Indiana market is Jim Hays. He officially begins his new role at WTHI-TV on Monday (4/13), after shifting from CBS affiliate WOIO-19, MyNetworkTV-aligned WUAB-TV and Telemundo affiliate WTCL-LD in Cleveland.
Hays served as Creative Services Director for WOIO before earning his most recent promotion. Before that, he served as Marketing Director for WIS-TV in Columbia, S.C. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and began his career at WLOS-TV in Asheville, N.C., as a Promotion Manager in Spring 1993.
