For its new SVP/Corporate Research, Univision Communications looked to a former PBS executive for its top candidate for the job. This individual is already settled in to his new role, and will now be based in New York, where he reports to EVP/Corporate Research Jed Meyer.

From "Lady Marmalade" to "New Attitude" and to her current role as a Dexcom G6 spokesperson on TV commercials, Patti LaBelle is an entertainment icon. The NAB Leadership Foundation recognizes this, and is bestowing its 2022 Service to America Leadership Award to the singer, actor and entrepreneur.

Graduates from the University of Maryland will receive hands-on investigative reporting experience at major media outlets as Fellows within the Scripps Howard Foundation-funded offering. The nonprofit newsrooms hosting the fellows during the program include NPR and The Maine Monitor. The fellowships, which are awarded biannually, are given to graduates of the Howard Centers for Investigative Journalism at the University of Maryland and Arizona State University.

The former spokesperson for Greater Media has taken a similar role with the former radio broadcasting company's acquisition partner, Beasley Broadcast Group.

Scripps Co.'s flagship TV station for the past five years and before that was LSM of CBS affiliate WVLT-8 in Knoxville for nearly 8 1/2 years.  Now, she is accepting a role as the integrated sales manager for a group of Atlanta radio stations, owned by Cox Media Group.
