Hitachi Kokusai Emphasizes 4K Production at NAB New York
Hitachi Kokusai’s SK-UHD7000 live production camera system incorporates three 2/3-inch CMOS image sensors with native 4K resolution to enable the capture of 3840x2160 UHD video. The sensors’ global shutter technology minimizes flickering and banding that could otherwise occur when capturing video in TV production sets with LED lighting and large LED displays, the company says.

Joe Mack Retires From GatesAir
He's enjoyed a 43-year career that saw him join GatesAir predecessor Harris Corp. in 1981 through his association with Midwest Corporation, a satellite news-gathering systems and services operation Harris purchased in 1989. Now, Joe Mack is enjoying the first weeks of retirement.
