The owner of an AM serving the Mississippi Gulf Coast has emerged as the buyer of an AM serving the Mobile market that had been associated with the Buddy Tucker Evangelistic Association before it went dark in 2020.

First, it was grabbing a pair of AMs with associated FM translators. Now, he's expanding his holdings in Palm Springs, Calif., to include a TV station.

Tune to "the Voice of Northeast Montana" in morning drive and you'll hear the station's Program Director and General Manager.  Pending FCC approval, he'll also be the owner of a station that is being sold by Jann Holter Berntsen.

Add a community college in Western New York to the list of colleges that will soon shed its 880-watt Class A facility — to a religious institution expanding again.

Since 2011, Rogers Sports & Media has held a 20% equity interest in a small FM radio station that while licensed to a town in New York has served Kingston, Ontario. Now, Rogers is shedding that interest and the remaining 80% equity holders are, too. The buyer? A Canadian entity that recently expanded its territory to the Niagara Region.

It's a Class B AM with 5kw during daylight hours and 500 watts after dark and serves towns and cities due south of Music City U.S.A. It also has an FM translator, giving it some "revitalization." Soon, both will be in the hands of Radio Maria.

One is a tiny FM facility covering the north Houston suburb of Spring, Tex., and the other is a 50-watt FM translator serving neighborhoods to the south of downtown Houston including Old Braeswood. Soon, both of this facilities will be added to the roster of broadcast properties licensed to Relevant Radio, in addition to an Austin FM translator.

Travel two hours to the east of the Kentucky city of Lexington, and you'll reach Prestonburg. Not far away is Harold, Ky., and that's the home of the Gearheart family, which is known in the region for civic accolades and for radio station ownership.  Now, Adam Gearheart has decided to hand 75% control of his two FMs serving this area of the Bluegrass State to other family members.

He's the head of the non-profit Augusta Radio Fellowship Institute, which in October signed off on an asset purchase agreement giving it ownership of “The Carolinas Power FM.” Now, the licensee that operates Good News Network and its GNN Radio, plus the Spanish-language Radio Amistad, is adding another FM to its stable.

It's a commercially licensed Class A FM with a .org website serving Vermont's city of Rutland with Country and Americana music as "Mud Radio." Soon, those in charge of the programming will have the security of knowing that their home will not be changing anytime soon.

After less than five months of ownership, Frank Iorio Jr. has decided to sell five broadcast facilities. The buyer? Look no further than a November 2020 deal that saw the sale of a Pittsburgh station once owned by Cecil Heftel and known for a brief time in the 1970s as "13Q."

He's a longtime broadcast media licensee based in Memphis. Until now, his holdings included a Class A Top 40 FM serving the Tupelo, Miss., listening area, and a Class C3 sibling serving Florence, Ala., with Top 40 programming. Soon, those stations will be under new ownership, pending a regulatory OK.

Vincent Castelli has agreed to acquire a trio of unbuilt low-power television stations, engineering a deal with an entity doing business as Quad Marketing Group.

It's a Fargo-based media company that owns WDAY-AM, flagship TV property WDAY-6 and The Forum newspaper serving this South Dakota city and neighboring Moorhead, Minn. Now, Forum Communications is growing by agreeing to a deal brokered by Kalil & Co.

Until now, a Class C3 FM serving Lawton, Okla., has been held by The Estate of William Richard Fritsch, administrated by Janice Fritsch. Pending regulatory approval, Chad Fox will soon be the owner of this station, branded as "The Breeze."
