In last week’s Media Monitors TV Spot Ten report, Progressive and McDonald’s were the big players. What’s truly noteworthy, however, is the big surge in activity seen by one major automotive dealer association.
The Nissan Dealer Association soared from No. 100 to No. 8, with 14,684 ads.
The big gain comes as the Ford Dealer Association moves from No. 8 to No. 4, with 17,292 spots.
At the same time, the Toyota Dealer Association is again in the Spot Ten, ascending from No. 15 to No. 6, with 16,797 commercials.
With all of this added activity, one automotive brand pulled back entering August. As seen in the chart below, the Honda Dealer Association dropped to No. 10, with 14,443 spots.
