It is a Class B AM radio station with a signal blanketing the Seattle-Tacoma market offering a Spanish-language Christian-themed format. Until now, it has been owned by Bustos Media. Pending FCC approval, this station and a companion FM translator will become the property of a Hispanic broadcast ministry.
K266CP at 101.1 MHz in Auburn, Wash., and KMIA-AM in Auburn are being sold by Bustos to Iglesia Pentecostal Vispera del Fin, led by Manny Ling.
A $750,000 payment price has been agreed to, with a 10% downpayment paid to Bustos by the church.
The legal representative for Iglesia is Jessica Nyman of Pillsbury Law; the law office of Dennis J. Kelly served as Bustos’ legal representative.
