The President of Texas-based Hispanic Family Christian Network has signed off on the sale of a pair of low-power television stations. One property, in San Angelo, Tex., is getting a little “Sunshine.” The other, in California’ Coachella Valley, is poised for some “Fair Play.”
Maria Guel, a longtime figure in Spanish-language evangelical broadcasting, is agreeing to the two transactions.
In the first deal, K33QH-D in San Angelo is being sold to Sunshine TV, led by Michael Dagen.
With Mark Denbo of Smithwick & Belendiuk serving as Dagen’s legal counsel, Guel agreed to a $75,000 sale price for the LPTV in Texas. A $25,000 deposit is being held by Crystal Title & Escrow.
In the second deal, Guel, who is a central figure in Mekaddesh Group of Dallas, is agreeing to the sale of K02RL-D in Indio, California, serving Palm Springs.
A $150,000 purchase price was agreed to, with a $50,000 deposit being held in escrow.
Guel’s legal counsel is Dan J. Alpert.
