The entity that controls the Daystar religious broadcasting operation and a TV station owner led by Matthew Davidge have come to terms on an asset sale in Texas that’s been submitted for FCC regulatory approval.

At the same time, the Daystar parent has a deal in place in the state of Washington with a different Davidge-led licensee.

Daystar’s parent is the Arnold Torres-led Word of God Fellowship, and with Mark Denbo of Smithwick & Belendiuk as its legal counsel, has agreed to acquire KXXW-LD in Tyler, Tex. and KXCC-LD in Corpus Christi, Tex. from the Davidge-led Roseland Broadcasting.

This transaction is valued at $250,000.

Concurrently, SagamoreHill Broadcasting, for which Davidge is the Chief Financial Officer, is agreeing to buy KDYS-LP in Spokane, Wash., from Daystar’s parent.

The KDYS sale is also valued at $250,000, effectively making this an asset swap.

Handling the FCC filing for SagamoreHill is Aaron Shainis of Shainis & Peltzman.
