Sinclair’s AMP Media podcast division and its television station branded as “CBS22” in South Bend, Ind., have confirmed their participation in the Athletes First Tailgate Tour when it stops by the University of Notre Dame on Saturday for the school’s football match-up against Texas A&M.

As the exclusive media partner of the Tailgate Tour, Sinclair’s AMP Media will deliver live programming, fan engagement, and multiplatform content from the event, which will be held at 1044 East Angela Blvd (adjacent to O’Rourke’s Public House) in South Bend.

Podcast host Jessica Smetana will bring The Echoes: A Podcast on Notre Dame to life on site in South Bend with a live show at 3:30pm Eastern. Sponsored locally by Drive & Shine, the Echoes live show will also be available via YouTube.

Smetana, alongside fellow Notre Dame alumnus and co-host Mike Golic Jr., former offensive guard and center, breaks down the latest on the team each week on The Echoes. Produced in conjunction with Sinclair-owned WSBT-TV, the podcast launched July 23, with long-form episodes available weekly on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other major platforms, as well as extended video versions on YouTube.

Exclusive clips are shared across Instagram, TikTok, and X at @TheEchoesNDPod.

Now in its third season, the Athletes First Tailgate Tour is a traveling college football festival featuring NFL and college football notables, premium hospitality, and interactive brand activations at 11 major games across the country.

The Athletes First Tailgate Tour features a 55-foot custom hauler, which includes a hospitality lounge, podcast studio, and live event stage, serving as the hub for fan activity at each stop.

Sinclair VP of Audio Programming Rich Cooke remarked, “This event highlights exactly what AMP Media is about-bringing fans closer to the programs, players, and community they love.”
