Accessible only by California Highway 127 and known for desert hikes and a hot springs resort yet just 40 miles from Las Vegas' major radio broadcast towers, Tecopa, Calif., is home to a Class A FM that a licensee wants to move to another frequency. Why? It's tied to an upgrade it wants for a station some 60 miles to the north, just to the north of Pahrump, Nev.
