Its motto is to broadcast gospel to all of the world, and it does just that via streaming audio and eight terrestrial FM stations spread across Kentucky, southern Ohio and north central Tennessee. Now, King of Kings Radio is preparing to welcome a ninth station to its broadcast family.

Regional Mexican recording artist promoter Pedro Zamora is also the owner of a 10kw Class C3 FM serving Des Moines with regional Mexican programming that includes the Nueva Network-syndicated Stephanie "Chiquibaby" Himonidis in evenings. Soon, there'll be a change at this radio station, as Zamora has approved its sale.

Robert Jamrog has gained notice for his role at JamTraxx Media, known for its dance-oriented programming and mix show syndication. Until now, he's also held an attributable interest in FM translators. With the FCC's blessing, that will soon change in two markets.

It's a 120-watt FM translator that puts a signal over Daytona Beach and adjacent Ormond Beach at 104.7 MHz, and is fed by a 1kw Class C AM covering the same portion of the Central Florida market. With the FCC's OK, these facilities branded as "The Rock of Daytona" will be sold to Alex Duvall.

It's a 14kw noncommercial FM facility serving a rural portion of Oklahoma. With the FCC's blessing, it will soon become a property owned by Calvario Communications.

Until now, noted radio broadcaster Clay Holladay has been the 50% equity holder of New South Radio, the licensee of four FMs, two FM translators and an AM in Mississippi. With the FCC's approval, that equity interest will be reduced to 20%, with three other Holladay family members picking up shares in the company.

Matthew Wesolowski recently made headlines for successfully selling the Class B AM and its associated FM translator bringing BIN: Black Information Network to Jackson, Miss. Now, he's making headlines for selling another property in Mississippi. This time, iHeartMedia isn't the buyer ... it is Larry Fuss. 

It has been owned by Baraboo Broadcasting Corp. and serves as the originating station for a pair of FM translators branded as "MAX FM," offering an Adult Hits format to a city in Wisconsin due northwest of Madison and nearby Reedsburg, Wisc. Now, the two translators and the AM are being sold. Who's the buyer? 

In October 2022, RBR+TVBR first reported on the acquisition of a Class A FM facility in the Rochester, N.Y., market by WXXI Public Media. That purchase is now complete, with closing coming on Tuesday.

If you've been under the impression that many of the media transactions seeking regulatory approval of late involve religious, non-commercial broadcasters, you now have two more deals involving radio non-comm operators to add to your list. One of the deals is in Cleveland.

In New York State, the Schoharie County seat is the small city of Cobleskill, home to a university and within the vast Albany-Schenectady-Troy DMA. That's perhaps the biggest reason why Ron Bruno has just agreed to acquire a low-power TV station licensed to this burgh.

In a deal that's just been filed with the FCC for its regulatory approval, a Class A FM with a signal scraping Lexington, Ky., from the south has just been sold. The buyer is led by President Karen Moses.

A low-power television facility serving the Duluth, Minn., and Superior, Wisc., viewing area is changing hands. The buyer is the licensee led by CEO Louis Wall with one other Minnesota property, which is operated by Gray Television via a shared services agreement.

During daylight hours only, it has a 5kw non-directional signal from a broadcast tower located adjacent to its offices and studios in tiny Lafayette, Ga., due south of Chattanooga, Tenn. With the FCC's blessing, it will soon have a new owner.

Dawn Fowler until now has been a 50/50 partner with the Kentucky-based President of Pinnacle Surgical in an AM radio station serving Corydon, Ind., which has an FM translator tied to it. Soon, she'll be the sole owner of these radio broadcasting facilities.
