Broadcast Industry Group LLC has reached an agreement to acquire eleven radio stations and two translators in Arkansas and Mississippi from High Plains Radio Network.

In December 2007, a licensee led by John Low acquired an AM radio station licensed to Wickenburg, Ariz., that today is based in Apache Junction, shifting from the far northwestern corner of the sprawling Phoenix DMA to its easternmost point — one that continues to experience unprecedented growth. Now, Low is cashing in by selling the AM, and its FM translator.

On June 7, Sage Weil's Civic Media agreed to acquire an AM/FM combo and an FM translator owned by the late Stephen Marks. The FCC has now given its approval to the deal, brokered by Patrick Communications. 

Soon, Louisiana religious broadcaster A.T. Moore's ownership of two FMs serving the Shreveport-Bossier City, La., market will conclude. According to an asset purchase agreement submitted for FCC approval, Educational Media Foundation is one of the buyers.

A nonprofit ministry "engaged in sharing the Hope of the Gospel to the entire world via local FM radio stations as God opens the door" is parting ways with a station serving a Georgia community that's presently dark under an STA. Who's the proposed buyer poised to bring new life to this dormant FM?

Canadian citizen Sukhdev Dhillon has engineered a transaction that will see his partnership with U.S. citizen Tarnvir Singh Bisla acquire a 6kw Class A FM in Kernan, Calif., and its all-important 265-watt booster amplifying its coverage of Fresno.

"Bom Dia, Danbury." Portuguese-language programming is coming to the Connecticut city due north of Westchester County, N.Y. And, it is thanks to a transaction involving Townsquare Media.

It's a Contemporary Christian FM translator fed by an AM serving a community within Northern Alabama. That AM and its FM translator, along with a Class C3 sibling offering Country music to the Gasden, Ala., market, are being transferred to a trust following the 2022 death of Tazewell Taylor Shepherd III.

There's a religious FM serving Worcester, Mass., known as "Q90.1" that, until recently, also used a Pascoag, R.I., FM as a simulcast partner. This relationship, pending FCC approval, will soon formally cease, as the Class B1 noncomm at 91.5 MHz has been sold.

American Christian Television Services has reached an agreement that will see the sale of its low-power digital TV station licensed to the city of Defiance, Ohio. The buyer is an entity that brought the expansion of the "Indiana News Network" to more stations across the neighboring Hoosier State.

As June 2023 came to a close, a non-secular licensee based in Fitchburg, Mass., signed off on the purchase of a construction permit for a forthcoming FM licensed for broadcast at 97.3 MHz. The seller is an individual who also resides in the Bay State. 

For radio listeners in Fulton County, N.Y., there are multiple options for non-secular religious programming, including WJIV in Cherry Valley; locally programmed WOPG, in Esperance; and "Alive Radio," too. Educational Media Foundation's Worship Music Air1 can also be heard. Now, EMF is poised to boost KLOVE's presence.

The lone primary FM radio signal for "The Gamut" is being sold to the owner of "Key 103" and "Eagle 106.9," bringing another signal to Manning Broadcasting.

The Highlands-Cashiers Plateau is in southwestern North Carolina, near the tri-state border with South Carolina and Georgia. And, it is home to an FM translator that is poised to head to a new owner.
