Mark Glover has decided to sell his Chama Valley, N. Mex.-based FM radio station, which airs a unique Adult Contemporary format and features Glover in the 9am hour interviewing community leaders, politicians, experts, “and other interesting folks.”
What does the future hold for KXJR?
That will be up to Teeter LLC, which is agreeing to buy KXJR-FM 96.1 in Chama from Mr. Glover.
A $60,000 purchase price was agreed to by the parties, with $20,000 immediately payable and the remaining funds due at closing.
KXJR’s highly directional signal covers Chama and Dulce, N. Mex., and due to the Rocky Mountains cannot be heard in southern Colorado communities including nearby Pagosa Springs.
Teeter LLC is headquartered in Albuquerque and is led by Mark Wilson.
Wilson was last in the news in January 2023, as he emerged as the buyer of 70-watt K240EC in Santa Fe, N. Mex. Wilson owned specialty suppliers of truck and trailer parts and supplies vendor WestFleet. In June 2022 the Wilsons sold the company’s assets and operations to TruckPro LLC.
