The longest serving member of NABOB’s Board of Directors passed away earlier this month after battling cancer. Wright joined Inner City Broadcasting Corporation in 1980 as General Counsel and joined the NABOB Board of Directors as Counsel to the Board that same year. She was later promoted to EVP of ICBC.

The Media Financial Management Association Annual Conference has concluded, and with the close of the three-day event was the announcement that the EVP/Chief Accounting Officer of Warner Bros. Discovery has been elected to serve as the association's Chair of the Board for 2023-2024.

She got her start in local news at WCCO-4 in Minneapolis in 1999, when she produced the station’s weekday morning newscasts. After several years in New York, this local TV news veteran returned to the Twin Cities in 2017 to serve as VP/News Director of WCCO-4. Now, Kari Patey is being promoted by CBS News & Stations.

In the heart of Central New York, there's no station bigger than "B104.7," iHeartMedia's top-rated Country WBBS-FM in Syracuse. A big part of those strong ratings is thanks to longtime personality Becky Palmer, who spent 22 years on the air before retiring in December 2019. Now, listeners and peers from across the U.S. are paying tribute to Palmer, who has died. 

From October 2016 through April 2021, he served as the Head of Local Programming and Creative for WCIU-TV in Chicago, which secured The CW Network affiliation following its removal from WGN-9. As of June 5, this local TV veteran is taking a role at TEGNA's NBC affiliate in Charlotte.

 A Class C3 radio station owned by the East Valley Institute of Technology serving the SanTan Valley cities of Chandler, Tempe, Gilbert, Mesa and Queen Creek — the southeastern portion of the ever-expanding Phoenix metropolitan area, acquired in March 2015, has just named an Arizona broadcast media veteran as its General Manager.
