Two Board Changes For Entravision As Salvidar Steps Aside

Following the untimely death of founding CEO Walter Ulloa at the end of 2022, Entravision Communications moved forward with the naming of Michael Christenson as the company’s new CEO.

Now, he’s been appointed a director of the company — one of two moves for the owner of Hispanic-focused radio and TV stations that earns the majority of its revenue from its digital segment.

Christenson has been appointed as a director of the publicly traded company, which will release its third quarter 2023 results at 5pm Eastern on November 2.

Joining Christenson on the Entravision board is Lara Sweet. She’s currently a Director of MediaAlpha Inc. and previously held the roles of Chief People Officer, interim Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Accounting Officer and Controller of Snapchat parent Snap Inc.

Sweet will serve as an independent director for Entravision and hold a seat on the Audit Committee, as a financial expert; she will also sit on the Compensation Committee.

With the seating of Sweet and Christenson, Entravision Chief Digital, Strategy and Accountability Officer Juan Saldivar has resigned as a director. However, his day-to-day executive role, which he has held since November 2020, remains unchanged.

Three analysts polled by Yahoo! Finance expect Entravision to report Q3 2023 revenue of between $266 million and $280.4 million, while two analysts pegged EPS for Q3 ’23 to fall between $0.01 and $0.07.
