The EVP of Digital Media for NBCUniveral Local has been named as the recipient of the NAB's 2023 Digital Leadership Award. She will receive the award at the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame Ceremony, held on the Main Stage of the 2023 NAB Show.

An entertainment industry attorney with diverse experience encompassing television, streaming and feature film has joined Hearst Media Production Group (HMPG) as Vice President of Business Affairs. She's inbound from entertainment law firm Ramo Law, where she was a senior associate attorney at the production and distribution specialty legal group.

The NAB has revealed the recipients of the 2023 NAB Engineering Achievement Awards. Representing Radio is the Chief Technology Officer of Beasley Media Group.

The NAB also shared which station will be honored with the Crystal Heritage Award, which recognizes radio stations that have won a total of 5 Crystal Radio Awards for exceptional year-round community service efforts. 

Hearst has a new Chief Data Officer for Consumer Media, responsible for driving Hearst’s data strategy across its consumer media businesses, including its broadcast television stations. She's a Nielsen veteran, inbound from Innovid.

While TEGNA's proposed privatization plan has been designated for a hearing in front of a FCC Administrative Law Judge, that hasn't stopped the company from operating with "business as usual." As such, it is celebrating the promotion of WCNC's Marketing Director to a top role overseeing a Central Texas NBC operation.

Following its Spanish-language coverage of the FIFA World Cup in November, Ray Warren retired as President of Telemundo Deportes. On Thursday, NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises formally announced who will be taking the reins at Telemundo Deportes.

Since 2018, he has been Director of Sales at a full-power TV station using digital channel 20 and a PSIP of channel 7 to serve a Lone Star State city with ABC programming and The CW+ on its DT2 signal. Now, he is rising to VP/GM.

The Leadership Awards are given annually in recognition of career contributions to the broadcast industry and the community at-large. Six honorees will be saluted this year, including the President/Publisher of Radio Ink and Radio + Television Business Report.

The Alliance for Women in Media and its Foundation (AWM/F) have finalized its roster of 2023 National Board of Directors and Officers. Five individuals have taken officer roles, while three women are new directors serving on the board.
