When 2023 comes to a close, the name Manoj Bhargava will likely be associated with a sizable portion of the broadcast television industry transactions that will have been agreed to this year.
Bhargava, who created the 5 Hour Energy beverage, has been fueling dollars into properties designed to convert free-to-air multicast offering NewsNet into a fully accessible network using owned-and-operated low-power television stations.
Now, NewsNet parent Bridge News LLC, led by Vince Bodiford, is working out an exchange with another prolific LPTV trader: Jeff Winemiller.
