‘Fox Sports Radio Nashville’ Finds A New Owner

0

It’s the home of not only nationally recognized syndicated sports talk hosts but also Fanrun Radio, from 7am-6pm local time.

Now, this 1kw Class C AM from 1 tower in Knoxville, Tenn., along with its FM translator, are poised to come under new ownership.

WKGN-AM 1340 and FM translator W289CU at 105.7 MHz are being spun by Hodges Media to MH2 Media LLC.

A $450,000 purchase price has been agreed to, with a $45,000 escrow payment being deposited by MH2 Media-affiliated SM Athletics to Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth.

However, there is a delineation with respect to the sale of the stations and the broadcast tower associated with WKGN and its FM translator.

SM Athletics is paying $205,000 beyond the escrow deposit, making the towers’ value $250,000. MH2 is therefore paying $200,000 for the AM and FM translator.
