It’s led by Chief Executive Officer Steve Newberry, known for his radio station ownership in Kentucky and for his many years at the NAB. Quu Inc. is transfixed on bringing elegant imagery to in-dash audio entertainment systems when one tunes to a radio station, and Saga Communications has just committed to delivering a visual “cue” to those enjoying free over-the-air audio content.
The agreement will see the deployment of visual content for radio stations across the Saga portfolio, which is comprised of stations in small to mid-sized U.S. markets.
Quu’s technology will be used to publish programming and advertiser messages on vehicle dashboards. “By adding in-dash Visual Quus to its radio broadcasts, Saga’s stations will have a consistent display with revenue-generating opportunities,” Quu says.
