KRON4 Welcomes Ex-Radio AE As Its New Sales Leader

The Nexstar Media Group-owned home for The CW Network in the San Francisco Bay Area has named a new Sales Manager. It is an individual who served as a Senior Account Executive for NBC Sports Bay Area from November 2020 through June 2023 and is the founder of Fan Reach Media.


Chris Lange will now work with KRON-4’s local and national sales teams to drive the station’s revenue growth across its broadcast and digital platforms. This includes the streaming of live news via the KRONon platform.

He reports to Michelle Woods, KRON’s Director of Sales. “Chris Lange is an incredible addition to the KRON sales team,” she said. “His ability to set and monitor performance standards, create long-range objectives, and devise effective strategies aligns perfectly with our goals of achieving and exceeding revenue targets. I am certain, Chris will propel
our business forward while developing meaningful opportunities for our clients. The understanding Chris has of the Bay Area will be significant to grow our market reach.”

Lange has held senior sales roles at NBC Universal’s broadcast properties in the San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose market and from June 2023 through May 2017 was a Senior AE for Cumulus Media in the San Francisco-Oakland radio market. “I am eager to work with such a dynamic and innovative team, and I look forward to contributing to the continued growth and success of KRON4,” Lange said.

From October 2012-June 2013, Lange was also a Senior AE for the iHeartMedia stations serving San Francisco-Oakland. Before that, he was an AE at Entercom (now Audacy Inc.) in Sacramento.

Lange is a 2006 graduate of Cal State Sacramento, where he was captain of the Men’s Basketball team.
