A Thursday night fire at Fisher Plaza in Seattle disrupted broadcasts by the Fisher Communications radio and TV stations located at the facility, with KOMO-TV, KUNS-TV, KOMO-AM and KPLZ-FM quickly switching to broadcasting from temporary locations, while KVI-AM was off the air for some time. Some Internet companies were also impacted by the electrical fire, including the travel portion of Microsoft’s new Bing search engine.
