Four additional stations affiliated with the Nexstar Media Group-controlled The CW have been added to local streaming lineups by DirecTV.
As of early Tuesday, two Sinclair Broadcast Group and two Gray Television stations were added to the service.
Now available are KYUU-LP 2 in Boise, Idaho and WCYB-5.2 in Johnson City-Kingsport-Bristol, Tenn.-Va., stations owned by Sinclair Inc.
Additionally, Gray-owned KCRG-9.2 in Iowa City-Cedar Rapids, Iowa and KFVS-12.2 in Cape Girardeau, Mo.-Paducah, Ky., are now on the streaming service offered by DirecTV in these respective markets.
This continues the placement of locally owned affiliates of The CW on DirecTV’s streaming platform, following the signing of a carriage accord.
