Now, Rowell's buying a second FM in the region, a 100kw Class C1 property licensed to Bay City, Tex., covering the same areas as the Class B property.

It's a 1kw Class C AM licensed to Sparks, Nev., with a city-grade signal of Reno and coverage of much of the Nevada state capital, Carson City. It boasts an FM translator with a directional signal pointing toward Incline Village, Nev. Both are now heading to a new owner, pending FCC approval.

In mid-December 2021, the leaders of Spanish Independent Broadcast Network opted to part ways with its low-power television station serving the Valley of the Sun. The transaction has now closed, awarding the property to a company that two years ago snagged a LPTV facility serving Arizona's Verde Valley.
