He’s a longtime broadcast media licensee based in Memphis. Until now, his holdings included a Class A Top 40 FM serving the Tupelo, Miss., listening area, and a Class C3 sibling serving Florence, Ala., with Top 40 programming.
Soon, those stations will be under new ownership, pending a regulatory OK.
WWFA-FM 102.7, serving Florence from St. Florian, Ala.; as “102.7 KISS FM,” and WXWX-FM 96.3, since Nov. 22 “Wild 96.3,” are being spun by Flinn Broadcasting to Southern Broadcasting LLC.
That’s the licensee led by Michael Brandt.
Two Asset Purchase Agreements were filed, and the sale of WWFA is valued at $262,500. So is the value of WXWX, putting the total price paid for the two stations at $525,000.
Serving as Brandt’s attorney is Dan J. Alpert.
WWFA and WXWX will join stations including WSLV-AM and W286DF in Ardmore, Tenn.; and WDTM-AM and WWGM-FM in Selmer, Tenn.
