In 2021, a deal was struck that saw a large regional non-commercial religious broadcaster acquire a 100kw Class C FM serving Rapid City, S.D., with Worship Music. However, that deal never transpired, with a non-consummation notice confirming University of Northwestern-St. Paul would not be acquiring the facility.
On November 7, another buyer stepped up, and signed off on an asset purchase agreement for this FM and its booster.
