A Class A noncommercial FM radio station serving an Illinois town to the west of Rockford is being acquired by Moody Bible Institute. For current listeners, there won't be significant changes in the programming, which currently offers a locals a locale "where you hear the Word" of God.

‘WOOK’ Completes Purchase of Low Properties In Arizona

In December 2007, a licensee led by John Low acquired an AM radio station licensed to Wickenburg, Ariz., from Richard and Joann Peterson for $500,000. Today, that facility is based in Apache Junction, and boasts an FM translator in Payson, Ariz.  In July, Low agreed to sell the facilities. The deal has just closed.

Baltimore-Based Businessman Buys Wasatch Front FM

At present, it has a puny 100-watt signal covering the town of Mona, Utah. However, it holds a Construction Permit allowing it to upgrade to a Class C2 facility, expanding its signal contour north to Provo and south to Delta and Gunnison. That's likely what led a former Provo resident who now resides in Baltimore to buy the FM.
