Radio industry icon Randy Michaels has submitted paperwork with the FCC seeking its approval to purchase a FM radio station with full-market coverage of the entire Dayton DMA. His Radioactive LLC is already operating the facility, which widens "The Oasis" to cities including Springfield, Ohio.

For most people, the cities of London and Manchester are associated with England. However, they are also municipalities within the state of Kentucky, where an AM with an FM translator and two full-power FMs can be heard. Pending FCC approval, they'll soon be in the hands of Karen Moses.

He's a prolific buyer and seller of low-power TV stations through his Lowcountry 34 Media operation. Now, Jeff Winemiller has signed off on an asset purchase agreement that, pending FCC approval, will deliver his company four LPTV properties in the Peach State.

A Tallahassee, Fla.-based licensee of low-power broadcast TV stations has moved forward with an acquisition that will give it ownership of a trio of LPTV properties, all of which serve the Southernmost City in the Continental U.S.

It's a Class D AM licensed to Somonauk, Ill., with an FM translator targeting such far-suburban Chicago communities as Sandwich, Yorkville and Newark.  Nelson Multimedia is not selling them, but it's just submitted documents with the FCC requiring its approval on an ownership tweak.

Two are in Bad Axe, Mich., while a third property is in the Michigan municipality named Pigeon. Pending FCC approval, these radio stations will be under new ownership.  And let us say Aymen ... as they prepare to hand them to the new licensee.

With a city of license of Wood River, Ill., this Class B AM serves the entire St. Louis market with 1kw from 4 daytime towers, and 3 towers at night.  Soon, it will become the property of a new owner, as Zobrist Media has signed off on its sale.

A 50kw Class B AM radio station offering regional Mexican programming, with an FM translator licensed to Omaha, are being sold by the broadcast media company founded and led by Mary Quass. The buyer? An individual who served as the stations' Program Director for 15 years, until 2022.

Call Communications has crafted a business built on Christian Rock music, with stations in markets including Miami-Fort Lauderdale. Now, the operation led by President/GM Robert J. Robbins has agreed to sell a facility in the Land of Lincoln.

Kristina Bruni-led Fair Play Broadcasting has signed off on the sale of a low-power broadcast television station serving the Texas Gulf Coast. The buyer? It's another prolific purveyor of LPTV facilities. 

It serves the town of Burnet, Tex., and until now has been owned by Richard Herring. Pending FCC approval, a new licensee will be in possession of this FM translator serving a portion of Hill Country to the west of Austin.

The broadcast ministry led by the Wildmon family for decades is expanding again. This time, it is agreeing to purchase a Class C3 noncommercial FM serving Iowa's largest market. It's a facility presently devoted to serving the Black community — and that's poised to change.

It's a Class B FM with a huge coverage area that uses a broadcast tower just south of the Maryland-Pennsylvania border, allowing it to serve Chambersburg and Hanover, Pa.; Martinsburg, W. Va.; and parts of Maryland including Hagerstown and Frederick. Soon, it will be a sibling to a longtime Baltimore-based Christian broadcaster.

A partnership between Todd and Margaret Marker has emerged as the pending new owner of a pair of FM translators serving a pair of cities in the Coachella Valley of California. The seller is an entity led by Ronald Cohen.

On April 14, RBR+TVBR first reported on a transaction that saw Marc McCain and his Sugar Valley Broadcasting agree to purchase an AM/FM combo serving communities due east of the Atlanta metropolitan area. That deal, brokered by Jon Yinger, has now closed.
