An asset purchase agreement has been agreed upon and submitted to the FCC for its regulatory approval that would see the transfer of control of an AM radio station and its companion FM translator in New Richmond, Wisc., end up in the hands of an individual tied to a reborn “WDGY” — an early rock ‘n’ roll-era Top 40 station in the Twin Cities. A West St. Paul, Minn., FM translator is also included in the deal.
