While Allen Shaw in recent years sold WINC-FM 92.5 in nearby Winchester, Va., to Educational Media Foundation, he kept the Fredericksburg AM/FM combo linked to Centennial Broadcasting II. Now, he's growing, not selling, in Fredericksburg and adjacent Stafford and Spotsylvania Counties.

An FM radio station that had been off the air under Special Temporary Authority with a construction permit for a mountaintop facility south of Provo, Utah, has officially resumed operations. That news comes alongside a Notification of Consummation shared on Tuesday by the FCC four months after the deal closed.

Larry Crain has signed off on an agreement that will see the transfer of control of two AMs, two FM translators and four FM stations in Arkansas to a licensee led by Robert D. Connell that's all about freedom. In fact, that's the company's name.

He's become known across the radio industry as the President/CEO of broadcast technology company MaxxConnect. But, Josh Bohn also happens to be the Managing Member of Signal Mountain Broadcasting, an Alabama-based operation that's agreed to sell a daytime-only AM and its low-power TV sibling.

It is a Class B AM with a companion FM translator that on July 1, 2024 went dark under Special Temporary Authority from the FCC as it became clear that Kermit Womack, aged 89, could no longer operate them independent of additional staff and expenses. Now, the facilities are heading to a new owner.

On Monday, RBR+TVBR shared the news that Bluewater Broadcasting is agreeing to sell WJWZ-FM 97.9 in Wetumpka, Ala., to Autaugaville Radio Inc.  Now, Bluewater has submitted paperwork with the FCC that seeks its approval for the purchase of another Alabama FM — a station it operates via an LMA agreement.

It already operates four stations serving Twin Falls, Idaho, offering a mix of programming that includes Mediaco's Estrella TV, Weigel Broadcasting's MeTV Network, and the NBCUniversal Hispanic Enterprises TelExitos digital multicast network. Soon, that group of properties will grow to a six-pack.

In mid-May, a new chapter for Gary Moss and M&M Broadcasters began, as the owner of three radio stations and an FM translator in Texas entered debtor-in-possession status. Moss has now signed off on a deal that will give all but his FM to another company.

Radio industry icon Randy Michaels has submitted paperwork with the FCC seeking its approval to purchase a FM radio station with full-market coverage of the entire Dayton DMA. His Radioactive LLC is already operating the facility, which widens "The Oasis" to cities including Springfield, Ohio.

For most people, the cities of London and Manchester are associated with England. However, they are also municipalities within the state of Kentucky, where an AM with an FM translator and two full-power FMs can be heard. Pending FCC approval, they'll soon be in the hands of Karen Moses.

He's a prolific buyer and seller of low-power TV stations through his Lowcountry 34 Media operation. Now, Jeff Winemiller has signed off on an asset purchase agreement that, pending FCC approval, will deliver his company four LPTV properties in the Peach State.

A Tallahassee, Fla.-based licensee of low-power broadcast TV stations has moved forward with an acquisition that will give it ownership of a trio of LPTV properties, all of which serve the Southernmost City in the Continental U.S.

It's a Class D AM licensed to Somonauk, Ill., with an FM translator targeting such far-suburban Chicago communities as Sandwich, Yorkville and Newark.  Nelson Multimedia is not selling them, but it's just submitted documents with the FCC requiring its approval on an ownership tweak.

Two are in Bad Axe, Mich., while a third property is in the Michigan municipality named Pigeon. Pending FCC approval, these radio stations will be under new ownership.  And let us say Aymen ... as they prepare to hand them to the new licensee.

With a city of license of Wood River, Ill., this Class B AM serves the entire St. Louis market with 1kw from 4 daytime towers, and 3 towers at night.  Soon, it will become the property of a new owner, as Zobrist Media has signed off on its sale.
