He’s largely known for his ownership of radio stations in Central New York. Now, Craig Fox has agreed to acquire a low-power TV station serving Syracuse, FCC documents filed by David Oxenford of Wilkinson Barker Knauer show.
Fox, through Renard Broadcasting, is purchasing WZLH-LD in Syracuse from Natalie Mester York’s Valor TV LLC. She is the trustee of the John Mester Income Family Trust, which assumed control of the low-power TV station.
With Mark Denbo of Smithwick & Belendiuk serving as York’s legal counsel, the FCC filings show Renard is agreeing to pay $34,000 for the facility formerly known as W16EA.
Fox is widely known for his ownership of WOLF Radio Inc. and his majority ownership stake in licensees Foxfur Communications and Cram Communications, all of which have radio stations serving the Syracuse market.
