Cox Media Group’s Orlando AM Delisted For Improper Encoding Move
UPDATED: It was established long before the sale of WPYO in Orlando by Cox Media Group to SBS that a rivalry for Spanish-language radio listeners would ensue. Now, it has become known that CMG shut off the encoder for "El Zol 95.3" at some point before its sale, and reset it for WDBO-AM. Nielsen Audio investigated, and as a result the CMG/Orlando News/Talker is being delisted from a re-issued April 2022 ratings report. SBS believes there's more to the story.
