BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.) has appointed the Chairman and President/CEO of Nexstar Media Group to its Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2020. In addition, BMI announced that four Board members were elected to three-year terms at BMI’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders, held last month.

The Director of Sales for politically influential WMUR-9 in Manchester, N.H., has been promoted to the newly created role of Director of Political Advertising for all of Hearst Television's locally owned and operated stations.

The newest member of the vCreative team will be charged with building and leading the Sales and Marketing team, as well as overseeing the Client Services team.

The person joining Telestream was most recently Regional Director of Sales for Media & Entertainment at Tavant. Before that, she was at IBM Watson Media. Her resume also includes stops at Comcast Technology Solutions, where she held positions as Global Client Director, and Director of VOD Sales; and at Scripps Networks Interactive.

There are two new VPs of Audio Network Sales at Entravision. One is a former Account Executive at Emmis Communications; the other has spent the past three years as VP/Network Sales at Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS).
