A private Lutheran college in Rock Island, Ill., part of the “Quad Cities” of Iowa and Illinois, will not be getting a new construction permit for a noncommercial FM radio station from the Audio Division Chief within the FCC’s Media Bureau.
Al Shuldiner had a choice between Augustana College and another mutually exclusive application. That other group, which was the tentative selectee, is now confirmed as the winner of the future facility.
