A Public Radio Service Gets Louder

It’s a Class A FM serving towns in New York and Vermont between Glens Falls and Rutland, and since May 2020 has been owned by the entity formed by the merger of Border Media with A&J Radio. Now, Ricki Lee is signing off the sale of WNYV-FM 94.1 in Whitehall, N.Y.


The buyer will take it noncommercial, bringing NPR programming to this swath of a region dominated by WAMC in Albany.
