Colorado Public Radio‘s Board of Directors have approved the work plan and budget for fiscal year 2027, which begins today. As such, the board is welcoming four new members.

Taking seats on the CPR board are Chris Castilian, Jessica Cavens, Noelle Hagan and Chris Jensen, whose terms began July 1.

“I’m excited to welcome these accomplished leaders to CPR’s board as we continue to define the future of this organization and serve communities across Colorado,” said Board Chair Lori Bergen. “Each brings valuable experience and perspective that will help guide CPR through its next chapter. I’m also deeply grateful to our outgoing board members for their dedication, thoughtful leadership and lasting contributions to our mission.”

Castilian has spent more than two decades at the intersection of public affairs and policy. Castilian’s career path has included work in nonprofit advocacy organizations, leadership of state agencies, and service on a governor’s senior leadership team.

Cavens previously served on the Board of Directors for Western Energy Alliance and the API Midstream Committee, and was appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Energy to the Unconventional Resources Advisory Committee. She has been recognized as a Top Woman in Energy by the Denver Business Journal and honored by the Manufacturing Institute of North America.

Hagan has served as an organizational capacity consultant and conducted numerous strategic planning processes and board development activities for organizations focused on public health, human services, transportation and the arts. She served two terms as Mayor of Montrose after serving on the Montrose City Council and has led strategic planning and board development efforts for organizations across Colorado.

Jensen is principal of Joyride Ventures and previously served as chief revenue officer at Ibotta, where he helped lead the company through its public listing on the New York Stock Exchange. Earlier in his career, he served as Global Marketing Director at Whole Foods Market and founded Givella, a fintech marketing platform that helped schools and nonprofits raise money.

For Fiscal Year 2027, Lori Bergen is the chair, with Ricardo Baca as vice-chair, Jeff Tieman as treasurer and Deidre Johnson as secretary.

The board also recognized the service of outgoing members Rishi Hingoraney, Robert Moore, Andra Zeppelin, Nelson Hioe, Adrian Miller and Jay Rolls, thanking them for their leadership and contributions to Colorado Public Radio.
