There’s a new Chief Programming Officer for Pillar Media‘s non-secular radio stations serving Central New Jersey, Cincinnati and Denver. It’s an individual who arrives from Gateway Creative Communications in St. Louis, where he served as Operations Manager for KLJY “99.1 JOY FM,” the BOOST Radio Network and KLJT-FM 88.1 “WorshipOne.”
Taking the post is Mike Couchman, and he’ll oversee what comes out of the speakers on WAWZ-FM 99.1 in Zarephath, N.J.; WAKW-FM in Cincinnati; and KSRC-FM in Denver — Christian Contemporary Music stations under the “STAR” brand. He’ll also oversee KPOF-AM 910 and KFCO-FM “FLO 107.1” in Denver, stations that air a Christian Talk & Teaching and Christian R&B format, respectively.

Couchman will begin his new role on November 16 and will be based in Pillar Media’s Aurora, Colo., office. He succeeds Matt Stockman, who recently announced his departure to pursue radio and non-profit consulting full time.
