A digital low-powered television station licensed to Columbus, Ga., has officially changed hands. As such, the FCC has approved, in a way, the “Word of God.”
WAUA-LD in Columbus has officially been sold by M&L Media to Word of God Fellowship.
The purchase price is $200,000; the deal was first announced in late August.
Word of God is linked to Christian television broadcast network Daystar, and this signals an affiliation with the non-secular network for WAUA.
The seller’s group is led by Maurice Bailey.
Serving as Word of God’s legal counsel is Mark Denbo of Smithwick & Belendiuk.
The deal includes a tower space lease agreement between John Wade Ginn and M&L, which expires in February 2025.
