By this time next year, the nation’s No. 2 licensee of FM radio stations is expected to be housed in its forthcoming Franklin, Tenn., headquarters, with its relocation from Rocklin, Calif., completed. Ahead of that shift, KLOVE and Air1 Worship Music networks parent Educational Media Foundation (EMF) has made three appointments to its Executive Leadership Team.
David Pierce has been named Chief Media Officer, while Matt Reynolds now holds the position of Chief Financial Officer as Bethany Davis assumes the post of Senior Vice President of Communications.
In his role, Pierce will direct the content on both K-LOVE and Air1 radio networks while also overseeing AccessMore, the ministry’s podcasting platform, in addition to EMF’s publishing and film divisions. Pierce joined EMF in 1991 after stints at leading Contemporary Christian Music FMs KLTY in Dallas and KSBJ in Houston. Since that time has held several leadership roles within EMF including, most recently, as Chief Partnership Officer.
Reynolds joined the organization in 2022 and has served in roles of increasing responsibility, including Director of Financial Analysis and Treasury, and Vice President of Finance. Davis formerly she served as Senior Manager of Public Relations with Varallo Public Relations following nine years at CBS affiliate WTVF “NewsChannel 5” in Nashville.
“We are excited to expand our executive leadership team with this group of outstanding professionals,” EMF CEO Todd Woods said. “The experience they bring to their respective roles, coupled with their dedication to our mission, will serve EMF well as we move forward into new seasons of growth.”
Construction on EMF’s new global headquarters in the Berry Farms community of Franklin, Tenn., is slated to be complete in the summer of 2024.
