He was formerly a VP of Broadcast Operations for Townsquare media, overseeing the technical operations of some 349 radio stations across 74 markets. Now, he is the Director of Product Development at Wheatstone Corporation.

Kelly Parker will direct product development for the company’s AoIP, streaming, virtualization, mic and on-air processing and software server lines. “Kelly has that rare perspective that comes with first-hand experience both as a developer and user of our technology, which will be important as we enter what is expected to be a transformational period for broadcasting,” said Gary Snow, Wheatstone’s CEO.

Kelly is returning to Wheatstone, as he served as a systems engineer during the peak development years of AoIP starting in 2004 and for 14 years before joining Townsquare Media in 2019.

Kelly had a lead role in the development of Wheatstone’s WheatNet IP audio network in early 2005, introducing the first AoIP system to combine routing, control and utility mixers into one intelligent I/O unit. In subsequent years, he led the development of Wheatstone’s flagship LXE console, the first to use soft controls as a reconfigurable AoIP console surface.

Kelly is based out of Wheatstone’s factory in New Bern, N.C.
