NEW YORK — Cumulus Media-owned national radio operation Westwood One has hired an individual with more than 25 years of media sales experience to serve as its new Sr. VP of Sales and Digital Partnerships.
He’ll not only oversee digital sales, but focus on growing brand partnerships across podcasting while overseeing the Westwood One New York and Atlanta sales teams.
Earning the post is David Cohn, who reports to Westwood One President of Sales Brandon Berman.
“David is an accomplished sales leader with an exceptional command of the digital landscape,” said Berman. “With his proven client-focused, multi-platform sales success, he is positioned to make an immediate impact on our business.”
Cohn joins Cumulus’ Westwood One from Spotify, where he was Director of Global Podcast Sales. Previously, he held leadership positions with Megaphone, Warner Media, Ziff Davis, and WWE.
