As far as Venu Sports and The Walt Disney Co., Warner Bros. Discovery and FOX were concerned, the acquisition of Fubo by Disney and its combination with Hulu + Live TV all but ended any legal or regulatory battles that would have put up roadblocks toward bringing Venu to its long-awaited debut.
Don’t tell that to one of the nation’s two direct broadcast satellite companies, which failed to merge with its peer in the space.
