We now know when The E.W. Scripps Co. plans to release its fourth quarter 2025 earnings report. And, it is confirmed that the company’s executive leader will sleep on the fiscal health review before it hosts a conference call for analysts, investors and debtholders.
The company helmed by President/CEO Adam Symson will unwrap its Q4 2025 financial results following the Nasdaq closing bell on Wednesday, February 25.
But, rather than host a call at 4:30pm or 5pm that afternoon, Scripps’ C-Suite will meet at 9am Eastern on Thursday, February 26 to share the results.
The call is two hours ahead of Gray Media’s Q4 2025 earnings call.
Scripps, like its peers, is expected to have a down fourth quarter, due to very difficult comps to the final three months of 2024, when political advertising reached new heights.
Five analysts polled by Yahoo! Finance chimed in with a guess on where the company’s revenue will come in at. The consensus estimate is $550.82 million, reflecting a 24.4% decrease from Q4 2024.
The analysts also provided widely varying Earnings Per Share estimates, with the high estimate at $0.46 and the low estimate at -$0.40. This puts the consensus EPS for Q4 2025 at -$0.19. In Q4 2024, Scripps’ EPS came in at $0.92.
