Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. (MIW) and the National Association of Broadcasters Leadership Foundation (NABLF) are reminding women pursuing careers in broadcast engineering, audio production and technical operations that applications for the 2026 LAUNCH Mentorship Program close Friday.
New this year, eligibility has expanded to include women working for broadcast technology partners and vendors, opening the door for more professionals across the industry to benefit from mentorship and career development opportunities.
Launched in 2023, LAUNCH pairs a rising female professional with an experienced industry leader for one-on-one mentorship, technical guidance and professional development. The program provides exposure to key areas of broadcast technology, including FCC compliance, RF systems, automation, IP-based broadcast systems, streaming and digital audio.
The selected mentee will also have the opportunity to attend the 2027 NAB Show in Las Vegas, gaining valuable industry connections and firsthand exposure to the latest broadcast technologies.
“Whether pursuing technical certification, advancing an engineering career or expanding expertise in broadcast operations, LAUNCH is designed to help women strengthen their skills, build professional relationships and prepare for future leadership opportunities,” the MIW and NABLF say.
The year-long program is sponsored by Mr. Master.
